9 cm folding pocket knife handcrafted in Laguiole, France, of birch and stainless steel in a satin finish
Laguiole knives were first crafted in 1829. The bee decorating the spring plate has become the prestigious symbol of France's most celebrated knife. Each Laguiole knife is assembled from start to finish by a single craftsman, and the blade and spring are decorated by hand, thus each knife has its own unique qualities. Blades, springs, stainless steel bolsters, and nails are all produced in a forge in Laguiole, France.
The size is the length of the closed knife.
There may be differences in color and grain, since each handle is made of natural wood.
